Dev joined the First National team in October 2018, beginning in the Administration/Loan Servicing department. In March 2020, he transitioned into Commercial Underwriting, where he has since held various titles including Analyst and Senior Analyst. His work emphasizes thoughtful execution and creative structuring to meet the evolving needs of clients.

Throughout his underwriting career, Dev has focused on Large Privates, Non-profits, Co-operatives, New Construction, Purchase, Refinance, Second Mortgages, Debt Restructuring, and Institutional transactions, supporting clients across Ontario and British Columbia. He is committed to deepening client relationships by being dependable, transparent, and solution oriented. When challenges arise, Dev takes ownership by presenting strategic options that align with client goals and deliver results.

A critical thinker, Dev carefully weighs multiple scenarios, always considering their impact on the client experience. Efficiency and clarity are central to his approach, especially when managing the lifecycle of a deal.

When he’s not adding value for First National borrowers, Dev stays fit with weightlifting and boxing/MMA, cheers on the Raptors, works on his car, and keeps up with the economy and industry trends.
