Anne joined the First National team in June 2023 to manage the analysts working with Evan Pawliuk and Reed Bracken on Team Cook. She has worked in commercial lending since 2012, starting as an underwriter and then advancing to underwriting management.
Anne took a circuitous journey to commercial lending. She studied industrial engineering but quickly realized that service was her real passion. She is energized by interacting with people. After trying out investing and not connecting with it, she got an opportunity to take on an underwriting role and learn the industry. And she never looked back.
Real estate lending requires adaptability and an aptitude for finding solutions. Working as an analyst requires task prioritization, client rapport and timely information sharing. With deep industry knowledge and expertise, Anne is excited to share what she knows and mentor a team of analysts to achieve their career goals.
She is a firm believer that learning in commercial real estate is unlimited. Whether it’s asset classes, market dynamics, trends, client best practices or real estate law, there is always knowledge to be pursued. Anne also believes that everyone has originality, and she is committed to helping people step into themselves and improve their real estate skills and expertise.
Working at First National, Anne is excited about the learning opportunities and the chance to contribute to process improvements. She is impressed by how tight knit and supportive the team is.
