Sofia joined First National in 2025 as an Associate Analyst with the Commercial Financing team, bringing a thoughtful and strategic lens to every task she tackles. With nearly a year of experience in the financial industry, she combines analytical precision with a strong sense of responsibility and care.
Prior to joining First National, Sofia gained valuable experience as a Finance and Accounting Analyst at MCAP, where she supported month-end processes and conducted internal audits to enhance operational efficiency. Her background in customer-facing roles, including her time as a Style Advisor at Aritzia, has shaped her ability to connect with people, listen actively, and deliver tailored solutions.
Sofia is known for her reliability, empathy, and forward-thinking mindset. She thrives in collaborative environments and is always looking for ways to improve processes while supporting her team. Her passion for continuous learning and growth aligns with the dynamic culture of Commercial Financing.
Outside of work, Sofia enjoys baking and cooking from scratch, exploring new gelato spots around the city, and engaging in activities that blend movement and mindfulness such as solo walks, hot pilates, and yoga.
